PROMOTION SUNDAY We will have a Sunday School Promotion Day on Sunday, Aug. 24 during the AM service. Please be with us for this special service and awards presentation.
A SPECIAL NIGHT WITH AWANAS The Awana Club members would like to invite the whole church to join them for songs and skits on Wednesday, August 27 at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center. Come and see for yourself the exciting things our kids are doing!!
SOLEMN ASSEMBLY We will begin a “Solemn Assembly on Wednesday, July 9th with “Forty Days” of fasting and prayer. This “Solemn Assembly” will conclude on Sunday, August 17th with a “Reading thru the Bible Event” beginning Wednesday, August 13th and ending Sunday, August 17th. There will be a sign-up sheet with a time schedule for you to participate. Let’s seek God for His grace, mercy, and favor for our church and community.
READING THRU THE BIBLE EVENT We wiLl begin “Reading thru the Bible Event” on Wednesday, August 13th and end on Sunday, August 17th. There is a sign-up sheet with a time schedule for you to participate. We need ALL of the time slots filled in so there will not be a gap. Let’s get involved and see what God can do when we submit ourselves to Him! LET’S READ THE BIBLE TOGETHER!
SUNDAY SCHOOL COMENTARY/ 2008-2009 To order your 2008-2009 Sunday School Commentary, please print your name on the sign-up sheet posted on the church bulletin board. The price of $14.99 is the same this year as last year. This translates to a cost of only $0.29 per lesson. Don’t Forget~ sign-up today!
SENIOR ADULT RETREAT It’s that time of year again! August 26th—28th is the date for this year’s Signal Mountain Senior Adult Retreat. This will be held at Signal Mountain Campground. The cost is $50.00 per person and $55.00 per person after August 10th. Join in the fun for 3 days and 2 nights filled with outstanding church services, crafts, fishing, horseshoes, go-carts, swimming, carriage rides, paddle boats, lots of good food, fellowship, rest, and relaxation! Rooms will be assigned on a first-come first served basis. Applications are on the bulletin board.
