Mission Statement:
Main Street Lawrenceburg, Inc. is a
non-profit organization committed to the preservation and enhancement of
Lawrenceburg’s Historic Downtown as a Center for community activity, and an
environment attractive to business and investment. Our long term goals are as
follows:
1. Coordinating efforts of city and
county governments, business and property owners, civic organizations, and the public at
large in addressing concerns such as parking, safety, public improvements, economic
development, and historic preservation.
2. Providing education and technical
assistance on issues of design, economic development, organization, and promotion within
the context of historic preservation. Downtown Lawrenceburg is a Historic Commercial
District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
3. Promoting the image of Historic
Downtown Lawrenceburg where “sense of place” and community pride are evident.
