Lawrenceburg is located in southern Middle Tennessee at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 64, an east-west route connecting Chattanooga and Memphis, and U.S. Highway 43, the north-south access route to Nashville and Florence, Alabama.

Highways 43 & 64 are in the process of being upgraded to a four-lane highway, providing easier access to Interstate 65 about 30 miles from the county seat of Lawrenceburg.
